The Cow Rear Hip Lift is used with
a lifting device to lift a cow that is down from milk fever, calving
injury or a fall. Rubber-padded stirrups protect the hip bones, and movable
parts are sealed and lubricated. Adjustable from small heifers to large cows.
(2000lb maximum)
Useful for everything from
post-parturient paresis, down cow, and prolapsed uterus to surgery restraint,
generalized weakness, obturator paralysis or fracture repair.
Will crank down to 14
inches, but not recommended for use on calves. Will open to
24″ wide.
